Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the transactional notification service operated under the name "Ricardo Team" (the "Service"). By subscribing you accept these Terms.

1. What the Service does

The Service sends transactional email notifications to individual subscribers about activity on Swiss online marketplaces — typically sale confirmations, payout reminders and order status changes. The Service is purely informational; it does not execute transactions and does not represent any marketplace.

2. Independence

Ricardo Team is operated by an independent provider and is not a representative of, or affiliated with, any specific online marketplace platform.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must use a valid email address you control.
• You may only subscribe yourself — do not enter another person's email.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit emails you do not control.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the Service.
• Forward or repost our messages on behalf of others as if they came from us.

5. Subscription and consent

Subscription is opt-in only. You can withdraw consent at any time by:

• Clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send,
• Replying with "STOP" or "UNSUBSCRIBE" to any of our messages, or
• Writing to unsubscribe@ricardo.team.

Unsubscribe requests are honoured within one business day.

6. No marketing, no resale

We never use your email for marketing campaigns and never sell, rent or sublicense your data. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of processors and purposes.

7. Availability and disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make reasonable efforts to deliver notifications promptly but we do not guarantee zero downtime, zero delays or 100% deliverability. We are not liable for missed marketplace deadlines that may result from delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, our aggregate liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to CHF 100 or the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months, whichever is higher. The Service is currently provided free of charge to subscribers.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your subscription if you breach these Terms or if your email address starts producing hard bounces, complaints or other deliverability signals that risk our sending reputation. We will notify you in writing where reasonably possible.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.

11. Changes

Material changes to these Terms will be announced by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the announcement constitutes acceptance.
